Watermark Art Center

In November 2018, I began volunteering at Watermark in the gift shop. My responsibilities included assisting visitors, photographing events, and collaborating with the Communications Director on press releases and social media posts. I also developed a marketing plan with a focus on social media and increasing memberships. Throughout this time, I continued to photograph events and assisted with reception.

Below are some photos I took during holiday events at Watermark, including the bead and quill workshop, tree ornament and tea towel fundraiser, children’s snowflake workshop, and the bake sale and artist showcase.

In February, I also had the opportunity to photograph the Creative Spirit Fiber Festival.

Lastly, I took pictures of artwork available in the gift shop at Watermark, as well as the painted rock workshop and the building itself.
